this is a woefully misdirected person who should be shown the door

however

there are indications that he, a survivalist, is talking about giving no help if there is an apocalypse , using language like “survive the end of days.” . So I think we are getting a spin here, just saying

He probably was watching foxnews and got furious. That's what foxnews does , makes their audience furious at Dems. He probably looked for ways to punish Dems after Foxnews got him enraged

Public officials have no business making comments like that and he should be kicked out of office. It isn't hard--you swore an other to protect the people you work for and you had a choice in doing that. Your duty is clear. I swore to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. We have many differences of opinion and lots of worthless name calling, but if someone is really a true "danger" to the Constitution, I will be defending it with life or limb. The Sheriff made that kind of commitment to his jurisdiction and his comment makes you wonder if is willing to do what so many other public servants would do and have done.

I don't really think an apocalypse is coming and, if I had a plan, why would I tell anyone about it? People have said a plan is needed; I am not even sure I want to live if there is truly an apocalypse.
