It’s been pretty obvious all along. The misrepresenting the value of a property, which by definition is subjective until it is resold, must be done 1000 times a day in the USA. And which person was coincidentally charged?

Correct, and this one irks me because of my personal experience.

If trying to get the highest value for a mortgage but lowest tax assessment was a crime half the homeowners in the USA would be in prison. Any sane lending institution has a risk management department for this stuff.

I used to deal with it all the time. People said "the appraisal was too low." We gave them a chance to appeal, but they had to give good reason. One guy tried to tell me his place was worth more because "the view was better." Nogo. IMHO the biggest thing was zillow values, which are only good for the most cursory research. I told some people straight away that if they want to appeal I would not even look at zillow.

Now, that is me, a low-level processor saying this stuff. Does any rational person think that an underwriting team examining a commercial skyscraper does not know what is going on?

Please raise your hands if you have personally told the bank your property is worth more so you can get a larger loan, but told your city/state or county your property is worth less so as to lower your property taxes.

I've lived in this house off and on for 65 years and I love it here and have no desire to move but if somebody were to offer me exactly what Zillow says this property is worth, I would say hey, write me a check. Zillow has it about double what it's actual value is. That's because my house was built in 1850 and I'm completely surrounded by a square mile of houses that range from $400,000 to 3 million. So that's how Zillow rates my property. Ridiculous. Of course when my parents bought this property in 1959 it was literally in the middle of nowhere, a farmhouse here and there and the kids went to a one-room schoolhouse. Things have changed slightly since then. My Township is high but the next Township over is rated in the top five most expensive homes in the entire state of Michigan.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

In another ‘you can’t make this up’ moment, the DNC has fired 2/3 of its staff. I of course have no idea how many staff they ‘need’ when not in the heat of a Presidential election. But the DNC has started a GO FUND ME campaign to help these laid off workers! They are crying that the DNC was not fair to their ‘loyal staff’!

I used Brave browser's searching mechanism after having the title and law number.

I'd imagine almost every blue governor and mayor could be arrested and imprisoned for having Sanctuary cities.

I don't think I'd give them more than 10 years of hard labor working on the chain gangs.

Definitely not execute them for Treason.

I'd go ahead and imprison Harris also since Joe is immune.

Unless they make her President before the inauguration date.

It took Trump winning in 2016 to reveal how corrupt the Democrats and RINOs are.

If it weren't for Trump, they'd be doing the same old same old.

He could go down as the most celebrated President in USA history.
