very odd as a pistol like that should just reload automatically. Somebody speculated that it was jamming, but if so, clearing the jam should be difficult. The next link below speculates it is a rare WW2 weapon that has a "unique rotating bolt operation"

I'd like to see Musk buy CNN and implement it as a real news organization as opposed to orchestrated Mockingbird.

But wait until it's almost free, as X becomes the main news source.

I'd stay away from the others, like MSNBC and let them go bankrupt.

He should grab CNBC too if she's a steal because the finance news is rigged also.

Oh no, someone missed a few days posting on the message board. OMG, Looking at the number of years you've all been here, coupled with the number of posts, I can only surmise you are a very lonely bunch. I can understand why a bunch of old guys, with no families or relationships to get in the way can spends their declining days posting to inane message boards.

Look how much excitement was generated by finding out if the new member is this AMS guy, LOL. "We outed him", you must tingle with excitement. LOL, keep stroking each other while waiting for that sweet release of death.

I have usually liked CNBC. Had it on almost constant for near a month in the hospital. Couple nurses asked me about it.

CNN has the advantage over MSNBC in that it has its own news gathering infrastructure whereas MSNBC seems pretty integrated with NBC which is cutting them off. CNN provides world news to all kinds of outlets providing a source of revenue. Plus, as much of a joke as they have made themselves they seem a step above MSNBC.

At the rate it is going, MSNBC might be had for $1 and taking on all the financial obligations. Fire most of the personalities and rebuild under a new name. CNBC could resurrect the FNN name it acquired about 1992. If Musk buys the works MSNBC could be rebranded "X" or "XTV" and integrated with X itself. Rebuild it into something next-generation of news and commentary. Just put Maddow out on an ice floe.

I think it repeatedly jammed, possibly because of the suppressor. A failure to feed is usually easy to clear by simply racking the slide. Here’s why I believe the gun jammed.
- At one point the shooter taps the grip with his left hand. He probably thought seating the magazine would stop it from jamming.
- police picked up live rounds off of the sidewalk along with spent casing. Each time he cleared a failure to feed he would have ejected a live round.

In hostel for 10 days.? If they don't find DNA anywhere else, there has to be some in that room.

since there were live rounds found on the ground you're probably right. Some report I saw said a home-made silencer is likely to cause a feeding problem. Unluckily for the victim he seems to have practiced with the gun and expected the problem

Having had to deal with jammed guns plenty myself, 'jammed' means something specific to me, entailing a partially complete cycling that positions the round in a way that, well, jams everything up. I guess we don't have a word for 'failure to feed' though; none comes to mind anyway
