Last year when Madonna performed here, it set a world record of attendance (1.6 million), although Rod Stewart had about 3.5 million during a New Year's Eve celebration in 1994.

I don't think Germanotta will surpass her.


I'll try to stream it to see how good she is but I don't care for her music other than with Tony Bennett.

Yesterday, up the beach a little ways, I was walking with my lady to get exercise.

The weather was very pleasant, with a cool ocean breeze and about 75 degrees F with very few clouds and a low-range of humidity.


Being so close to the concert area, I was curious how the area would be affected.

I noticed many men that looked like Freddie Mercury but with skimpy bikinis on.

Normally, I wouldn't see any at all.

They were easy to spot.


It's common for women wearing strings down here.

But too much info for me yesterday.

Today for exercise, maybe we'll walk up a nearby mountain away from the spectacle.
