Only a person with an IQ below 90 would think that was a college university Oh, yeah, that includes you. So…. It was not a university. It was just a training seminar like many others. Nothing wrong with offering a seminar. More lawfare. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

I had a friend who owned businesses that could either be helped or harmed by specific legislation in NY state. He donated $5k to many politicians on both sides of the aisle. He said the ‘access’, even to some politicians he abhorred, was worth the ‘support’ he gave them. |

The vast majority of crimes that happen, the crooks are never caught and never convicted. It's a fallacy that crime doesn't pay, the truth is it pays very well. Take shoplifting for instance. The average serial shoplifter only gets caught once every 50 times they steal. Most burglaries are never solved. Only half of all murders end with an arrest. The average drunk driver only gets caught one in every 40 times he drinks and drives. Only 2% of committed crimes are ever solved overall. Constant criminal activity is going on all around us 24 hours a day. For one thing, to solve a crime you have to know a crime has been committed. And only a small number of actual crimes that have been committed are known about. I've heard for decades that if you want to commit a crime, plan it well, don't tell anybody about it, and only do it once. Your chance of getting caught is almost zero. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Lots of doubt, actually. For most crooks, prison is just an occupational hazard. Lots of guys in the can prefer it. This is why you hear of "stupid criminals" who stick up a Wendy's(r) and then just sit down and eat, waiting for the cops. Go ask a lawyer and they will tell you lots of this. It's like the line in "Casino" where Tony Spilotro tells the banker, "Jail doesn't bother me. It is what I do." Prison is simply finishing school for lots of guys. You teach me how to B&E, I'll teach you to move dope." War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

For some of them, going to prison is like attending graduate school. The learn how to be better, more efficient criminals! |
