This a possibly interesting case. The shooter will be charged most likely but what punishment will he actually get. I would suspect the jury will be sympathetic. Only problem for him, there may be a fairly severe minimum sentance in California. "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |

People can and do do weird stuff when intoxicated: hello, impairment of judgment. Not an excuse, but a partial explanation: not a hate crime, just more drunken assholery. {bumper sticker: 'Instant asshole, just add alcohol'} I'm surprised nobody was killed. |

I can picture him starting to head out or maybe backing up ready for another run, as far as anyone knew. The shooter should not be charged in my book, unless in fact the driver was giving himself up [can't believe that] I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |

I don't know that it was intentional. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

Sure looks that way.
