Close enough

The Crusades: Estimates range from 1 million to 9 million deaths.
Charlemagne's wars of conversion: These campaigns resulted in approximately 100,000–200,000 deaths.
The Inquisition: Estimates for executions vary, with broader European numbers potentially reaching 15,000–25,000.
The Taiping Rebellion: Led by someone with Christian affiliations, this rebellion resulted in an estimated 20–30 million deaths.
Religious wars in Europe (16th–17th centuries): Conflicts like the Thirty Years' War and French Wars of Religion resulted in millions of deaths.
Colonial expansion and the transatlantic slave trade: Some argue that Christianity played a role in justifying violence and enslavement, contributing to millions of deaths.

No, historians call it "western Christian civilization."

Which is why it is called that.

How, exactly, would we be better off? No general bigoted statements. Nuts and bolts. What, exactly, about Christianity drives haters like yourself so crazy? Did you try to "love your neighbor as yourself" then after her husband kicked the crap out of you? Or are you going to claim there was no war without Christianity?

The left seems to have a difficult time with the concept of Jefferson's "all men are created equal".

Like during the KKK days or the current illegal criminals.

They want those slaves to pick their produce on the slave plantations.

They completely ignore the concept about being Caesar "legal", because they'd have to do the work instead.

Pick your own produce.

Oh, I most certainly am not "crazy."

I simply see no evidence for the existence of a Christian god, so I choose not to believe the dogma I was spoon fed as a lad.

Priests are pedophiles; nuns are sadistic lesbians: some exceptions but not many...in the catholic church which is what I had to endure.

I ask myself: "Why did people ever NEED to create the notion of a god? Why not focus on the corporeal world instead, and learn to get along with one another instead of pissing and moaning about "My invisible savior can beat up your invisible savior?"

Religion is and always has been a a mind fuck perpetrated by churchmen to retain power and influence; they sell smoke and mirrors, i.e. the dream of salvation...whatever that is.

For the past 2000 or so years Europe has dealt with christianity and the results have been disappointing: as opposed to developing inquiring minds people allowed priests to spoon feed them what they were told they needed to know, just like Trumpies are spoon fed MAGA dogma.

Untold millions have died in wars / conflicts / incidents based on the christian religion.

Dogma is dogma, and I just scrape that smelly dogma off the sole of my shoes.

No thanks, christianity is not for me: I open my eyes, observe, ponder, conclude, then move on without allowing anyone to tell me what they believe to be the correct answer.

We'd be better off without religion as crutches, such as religion, are for the weak and prevent people from becoming whole and healthy.

You'd be better off looking into zen than the bible, but then zen is not a religion, it is a way of approaching life.

Anthropologically, religion of some sort happens in pretty much every society. That is pretty good evidence. Other evidence is creation of life itself. Said creation could not be random. A greater force had to have acted. Otherwise we would have live on Mercury, Venus, and Mars at the least. We don't.

Priests are pedophiles; nuns are sadistic lesbians: some exceptions but not many...in the catholic church which is what I had to endure.

Pretty broad brush there. We had a problem with gay priests for sure. But gays caused problems in places like the Boy Scouts so not sure how no religion would change that.

Muslims are the only ones really doing the later. Anything Christian is more along the lines of, "here is why we think our way is right." Nothing wrong with that.

You are saying the Roman Empire was better? Or the godless communist governments? I do not see any disappointing results. I do see people who cannot handle that religion says some things are bad and should be avoided. This really picked up with the boomers who had the "if it feels good, do it" but living like that tends to have bad long term results.

Millions more have died is wars with no religion involved. Do you have a point? I assume not as your last several posts on this subject are just your bigotry and theophobia.

The loser, lefty, libtard Texas democRATS returned to Texas yesterday.

Democratic members were able to leave the chamber on Monday only after signing permission slips, promising to return for the next meeting on Wednesday and agreeing to be paired with police officers.

They have to sign a permission slip to leave! LOL

Ryan involved in Hussein's coup attempt.

It looks like he could be pretty high-up in the crime syndicate.
