Why should I surrender to an invisible, fictitious entity when my life is going just fine?

Are you seriously saying that the only folks who need god are those Damaged Goods among us?

I could see the attraction in surrendering to this god nonsense as opposed to killing oneself if one's life had fallen that far into the toilet, I'll grant you that, but healthy people, folks firing on all cylinders, need god in their life like they need a hole in their head.

And this is why California gets its reputation, unfortunately. It's not so much that I think this guy will get paroled, but why so early?
