Calling a girl ‘a person assigned female at birth’ instead of calling her a ‘girl’ is not what 80-90% of the population wants. Calling a ‘confused’ girl a ‘they’ is not what the majority of people think is reasonable.

It was a super strong ad for Trump.
Something like ‘Harris is for ‘they’, I am for ‘you’.

You may not like it, but it must have cost the Dems a lot of votes. They finally have realized it, and at least (theoretically) are trying to do something about it.

Don't care what anyone else is doing along this line. Unless I'm dealing with someone like Duffman, I respect whatever they want to be called NO MATTER WHAT IT IS.. If they don't tell me, I guess or ask.

Duffman doesn't respect what people want to be called if he doesn't agree with it, So I treat him the same way. I don't otherwise care about word lists people are trying to avoid or use purposely. That's not conversation, that's something else. I don't practice that.

I only make accommodations to avoid spending all my time banned, as the case may warrant.

edit - I won't call someone something they only want me to call them though. Unless I know them and have some relationship with them. If people want to act like shitheads to me though, they get called whatever I want.

Bill Maher of all people had a good point on this. He explained it is why the Democrats lost and will continue to lose. He went over issues from crypto to border to water closet regulations. He showed how Trump talked about what people cared about and picked off a few votes on each one. And how meanwhile the Democrats were talking about "pronouns" or "saving democracy" (whatever that was supposed to mean) and either people ignored it or got turned off.

Women who are mothers do not want to be called "birthing people." Any normal person thinks such a thing is silly. The weird subset that likes it is already voting D no matter what.

But Maher pointed out the really big thing. Trump cannot run again. Sure, liberals are easily trolled with "Trump '28" memes, but he cannot take office if he did run. But TDS is so strong that Democrats have the need to "run against him" on every last thing he does. People will get tired of listening to it. They will be going on and on about it even in '28 and at just the right point, Vance will tell whatever Dem is at the debate, "Do you not realize Trump is not running?"

Democrats need to read Sun Tzu. Trump is governing as if he wrote it. They waste so much energy fighting him no matter what. Schumer made a jerk out of himself about the WH remodel cost, he did not even take the time to learn that Trump himself was paying for it! They are out there singing songs to support a human trafficker! They are saying unsafe streets are safe. You would think at some point, someone in the party would have the sanity to say, "Hey, guys, (or whatever liberal males want to be called), maybe we are on the wrong side of some of this stuff and should wait for the right moment?

I guarantee you the health groups will continue to use "birthing person" ... a hill they will die on

a lot of this woke crap comes from that world, and other people just pick up on it
