The Democrat Party is a cesspool. That they would even consider Platner is a prime example. Yeah, Trump is not a pillar of virtue. That does not change what the Democrat Party has become. How about an EASY universal rebuke of Platner? |

Being a bad man is no bar to elected office. Tell me Donny no more should be President than Platner should be in the Senate. You won't, though. your hatred of Democrats and certain of the "wrong" type of immigrant and love of high market returns at the expense of almost everything else draws you to Donny. |

Generally correct. Change it to ‘those who try to succeed’ and ‘those who want the government to provide for them’ and you’d be more accurate. |

Maybe in the inner cities and on welfare row, but...I am reminded of "the good old days," when JFK was briefly at the helm: a glorious time for the democrats. I never got the notion that JFK wanted to provide anything to the downtrodden other than a fair chance to make it. The democrats would be in a good position today to capitalize on the fat oaf's "reign" except they are too dysfunctional (again) to come up with a winning platform and strategy: must suck to be them, not knowing it they're moderate or truly progressive. |
