I was very happy to get $16k but they do have it for sale at $21k. I would guess they will have to lower it before it sells. I would guess they will get between $18k and $19k. https://www.carmax.com/car/25886205 At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

The condition was probably 9.5 out of 10. I got the car two years ago from my mother because she couldn't drive anymore. In those two years we put 2000 miles on it. Insurance alone was about $100 a month and I realized we paid about $2400 in insurance for a car we put 2000 miles on. That seemed foolish so we sold it. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

I'd buy it based on my casual knowledge of the previous owner. If I actually needed that sort of car for some reason. Which I don't. Trump is not a genius; you're just dumb. |

I am surprised the 2016 Impala sold for $20k at Carmax. I guess they know more than I do. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

Some people just buy from these places knowing they are overpaying, but financing is a lot easier I gather. |

I know a lot of people that buy cars at Carmax. I always assumed it was the "no haggle" that people jumped on. I am just the opposite, I would never buy a car at a no haggle place. The haggling is half the reason I buy new cars. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |
