Leave it to the states. People can move to a state that closer aligns to their beliefs.

White privilege
Sure it's easy for you
It's even easier for me
But
Reality is for a lot of people, it's not easy bordering on close to impossible

Then vote for candidates that agree with your position. Must be in their state more people are voting for people that disagree with their position. This will be a blip in the road. Pro abortion people nationwide outnumber pro life people 2-1. And that number will only grow.
My hope is the Democrats have something ELSE to offer the bad ‘white uneducated working male’. Who they treat as the enemy.

Probably as simple as the cost of the next common item, since I can't rule out the perception of the economy as a major reason. Does the white uneducated male want a hand-out now? The same hand-out they object to giving someone else normally. Doesn't figure.

I don’t think they want a handout. What they want is their tax dollars not to go for hotel rooms and credit cards for illegals in sanctuary cities. For wasteful DEI programs. For business stifling red tape. And the like.

And though there are just a few hundred or so billionaires, I think the public is NOT FOOLED by the Democrat trope of them ‘not paying their fair share’. That the Democrats are just demonizing those who have achieved the highest level of success. Forget how many billions of dollars Musk has paid in taxes; they are aware how many THOUSANDS of jobs he has helped create.

The GOP embrace of Musk, and the Musk embrace of the GOP befuddles me. Musk creates and sells consumer products the GOP hates-EVs, solar power, home battery backup systems. The GOP desperately wants to regulate social media, and Musk owns a big social media company. Strange bedfellows, indeed.

Why do we expect things to be easy? 99% of the jobs people do are available in every state. In the 1800's many people packed up and moved cross country, it wasn't easy but they were searching for a better life. If they can wagon trail for six months to get to a better opportunity I don't think it would be more of a hardship today for people.

Both parties overplay their hand eventually when they move too far right or left. I'm expecting Trump to move to overplay his. We'll see.

Absolutely! I’m figuring out how to bet on Democrats controlling Prez, House, Senate come 2029.

I never said that. Some people here have. I could have just as easily been wrong though and they right because I really didn't know how much of an effect it would have.

One thing I definitely would have been wrong about if I had bothered to say anything, is I never expected Trump's last week of campaign rhetoric not to negatively affect him. I would have got that 100% wrong.
