First of all, if Amazon wants to display such info, of course they should be allowed to.

Should McDonalds do this for its burgers?

Big Mac. $5.00
$0.27 new minimum wage hike
$0.11 OSHA filing requirement
$0.21 maternity leave pay
$0.14 DEI classes
$0.23 legal fees
$0.12 carbon neutrality initiatives
$0.01 beef

I don't see why not. Receipts tell you how you're spending your money.

The Dems voted against ending taxes on tips in Trumps ‘big beautiful bill’. They voted against ending tips on OT. They voted against ending taxes on Social Security.
(I agree with them!). I think though when it comes to the campaign trail this is an easy ‘The Republicans are for the common man’, while the Democrats aren’t’ moment. The Democrats will have some explaining to do to the folks at home.

Both parties plain suck.

The no tax on tips/SS and OT part of the House bill got nary a mention in the news. Do you know what did? Billions of tax breaks to high income earners and billions in cuts to Medicaid, SNAP and other assistance programs. I dare MAGA/GOP to run on "we cut welfare to give tax breaks to rich earners!"

Care to comment on the Dems in the Senate voting unanimously for no taxes on tips? Why do you keep ignoring that?
