So Trump did not marry Melanie until 2005, but they were dating (secretly and not so secretly) since the 90s. And, Trump would bring her discrete places since he was still married. So Trump bringing Melanie to a weird sex thing with Bill Clinton in 2000 is not completely out of the bounds of possibility. Epstein was a billionaire. Donated gobs of money to politicians. Had a luxurious private island. In the world of the ultra rich and those that can be influenced by the ultra rich, accepting these free vacations is not surprising. If you want to paint all those that went as bad, I think that’s an overreach. Trying to figure out who was actually criminal will be exceedingly difficult. If you are using ‘reasonable doubt’ as a bar, I’d say impossible.

Howard Lutnick is mentioned. He went there with his wife and kids. His statement (which I believe) is that he accepted a family vacation. No more, no less. I’ll bet he wishes he went to an All Inclusive in Punta Cana instead!

It's amusing in a very sad way the DOJ is definitely reaching to find ways to indict all of Trump's enemies but can't find a thing to prosecute in the release of the files.

Anyone who associated with Epstein or went on such trips after 2008 is a bad person. Before 2008 you could still have plausible deniability. But, once his whole life is in the spotlight and what he does at his parties and properties, there is no reason a straight and narrow person would associate with him. They either enjoyed the same activities, or they cared more about his money than his bad behavior, either way, bad people is fair across the board.
