Did you read the rest of what I wrote? He figured how to access the roof. He had a planned escape route. He appears to have a safe house to stay at. And that is not as easy a shot as you are making it out. I saw some video just now of him on the roof. He knew to stay lying flat, some people spotted something but I guess let it go.

As for your other points...I'd hypothesize that anybody with a non-addled, functioning brain could plan the kill and successfully carry it out, given the low security environment.

How this affects society at large will be a big thing. The first thought is this is going to turn people off on the left. Some of us have been pointing out the radicalism and violence, only for the mainstream media to pooh-pooh it off. What was it, 10 years ago a guy was going to shoot up the GOP House Softball team? He got stopped so it got pooh-poohed. Trump shootings stopped, so what is the big deal?

But now, half the nation has stopped, and an examination of violence will happen.
