ICE- Authoritarian or community based?

An ICE officer is arrested for DUI (with his kids in the car,) and while acting the way you expect, he starts questioning the nationality of the arresting police after he suspects one of the black officers of being Haitian. It cuts to the heart of the issue, of ICE officers using race based observations. Everyday it seems more and more videos are surfacing of ICE officers acting inappropriately. This may be due to the sudden surge to hire 30k agents in a few months leading to reduced standards/getting and high bonuses leading to many people taking the job for the wrong reasons. It just seems to me we are entering a world where Federal Officers are using race as an observation method to find who to target. |

You can't even be a cop without being a citizen. And, if somehow he foolled the background investigators and vetters, some drunk guy on the street is not going to solve it. He clearly only brought up his nationality as an intimidation factor. Not everyone with dark skin and a foreign accent is a non-citizen. |

Point of clarification, you can become a cop int he US without being a citizen. That being said, Duffy isn't even trying to hide the GOP racism. |
