Crime in NYC is down

Talk about moving the goalposts! What does any of that have to do with him unequivocally saying he will not enforce the laws as determined by the US Supreme Court?

ROTFL
Nobody cares if he shields people against Govt racism by a racist supreme court
He will probably get elected again because overall New Yorkers are happy electing him
I think he is doing a great job which actually infuriates you

For a guy who thinks it doesn't matter who is office, since "life goes on", he sure is wasting a lot of glucose metabolism b!tching about a mayor of city he doesn't even live in...

I grew up there. Went to college there. Medical school there. Visited a couple times a year for decades. And of course life goes on. The few moments in my day I point out how bad Mamdani and the Dims are is worth the small amount of ‘glucose metabolism’.

You are tying yourslef up in knots like an acrobat in refusing to admit it indeed does matter who is in office...

Of course it matters who is in office. But just not as much as you and the TDS addled think. In 2 plus years he’ll be gone. Unless it’s sooner. Whatever he’s done that you don’t like can almost all be reversed.

SCOTUS going to somehow become less 6-3 MAGA in 2 plus years?

Then why do you care about Mamdani? Everything he does can be reversed in 4-8years? And, it is far easier to reverse city ordinances and local orders than federal laws and a web of new policies in place....

Saying people can't complain about Trump because it's reversible, while spending a good portion of your active time complaining about Mamdani (who is far more reversible, and is not even in power close to where you live...) is at a minimum, tad hypocritical....

Who said I said you can’t complain about Trump? In ‘real life’ I probably do so every day! Mamdani is making antisemitism and anti Americanism more pervasive. Might that wave be reversed? I hope so, but I’m not confident.

As you know, NY (state) has ‘tax the rich’ tax codes. That of course Mamdani wants to expand. As could have been expected, there was an exodus of the top 1%. Now Governor Hochul is literally begging for the ex NYers to come back. Mamdani is trying the same with NYC. Let’s see how that works out.

Much ado about nothing
The vast majority of rich people in NYC would never live anywhere else
Being against Israel is not antisemitism
Being against Hasidic Jews abusing the welfare system is not antisemitism
Can you imagine the outrage in this country if Muslims abused the welfare system like Hasidic Jews do
Can you imagine a Muslim demanding welfare for a huge family he refuses to support as he studies the Koran all day instead of working
Mandani is the ultimate AMERICAN success story. Its essential Americana
A Muslim the Mayor of the greatest city on the planet

I think this will be my last post here on the controversial type threads that live here. It is just too frustrating to continue to argue with a simpleton. Someone so limited who writes ‘the vast majority of rich people iin NYC would never live anywhere else’ thinking that’s an ok answer to the exodus that EVEN THE DEMOCRAT GOVERNOR has admitted has happened…. If enough of a minority of these high earners leave that’s a big hole for NYC. Its impact has been temporarily stayed by the overall booming stock market and resultant taxation due to such. If 10% of the multimillionaires leave it’s a big deal.

EB has mentioned he posts for himself. That’s not me. I post to interact. But what I’m getting back is of such low quality it’s just not worth it. So I’ll still be here but not active in the majority of threads. I’ve received many PM’s just telling me to ignore the few low quality posters, but I think that’s virtually impossible if participating in a thread.

Upset about low quality posts in response to yours? Simple explanation: garbage in->garbage out.
