Venezuela is not a distraction from anything. It may be stupid policy for Trump to antagonize them. But it’s just TDS to think he’s doing it so Epstein is number 6 on my Yahoo feed instead of number 5.

Trump has no lord nor master. If you had to pick a single person who does what HE wants regardless of ANYONE else in the world, I think Trump would be a good choice. Is he a good choice to evaluate the pluses and minuses of ending the killing in Ukraine of Ukrainian citizens and Russian troops versus what territory Russia will keep? No. But it’s just TDS to say Putin owns him.

It's profoundly problematic. He was targeting for execution foreigners without the benefit of any due process or deliberation on the issue. We are not interdicting their vessels in international waters, confiscating their alleged illegal contraband and bringing them to justice to face trial for their alleged crimes.

Here we see the conflict between due process and the lack thereof, Presidential executive authority and Congress's power to declare war. Not the first time, nor is it the last.

Why AREN"T we doing just that?

Hell, we have a freakin' AIRCRAFT CARRIER there: surely we should be able to monitor boat trafttic and use military resources to identify, stop and board any suspicious transits.
