Barron Trump is almost 20 and of prime draft age. Is that "bone spurs" I see looming on the horizon? "Like father, like son..." While it will NEVER happen, Barron could set the stage for a career in politics were he to enlist in the armed forces and serve a tour of duty with distinction. Worked for Ike. |

Luckily, the President cannot start a draft. Congress would need to authorize it. And, even idiot Republicans know it would be career suicide to vote to modify selective service to return a draft. There would have to be a huge terror attack on the U.S. to start a shockwave, only way it would happen. And, even then who knows (even 9/11 was not enough...) So the chance of a draft is virtually zero unless WW3 breaks out AND we get attacked on home soil. |
