Trump going crazy this morning, talking about how he is going to wipe out a civilization tonight. You know the President of peace or whatever...

I'm starting to agree in part with something N17 said about an IQ above 80. You need an IQ of 81 and nothing higher to think this President shouldn't be removed from power. He shouldn't be in charge of an anthill, because he'd f it up in no time. Much less the US itself.

I’d love it if Trump no longer had power. But that’s not how our government works. We don’t have recall elections. Being stupid, being rude, even making decisions that turn out bad for the country are not reasons to overturn the fair and decisive election that put him in power FOR THE SECOND TIME.

The way our system works is in November, you can vote against pro-Trump candidates. And if enough do so, Shumer and Jeffries will be able to hamstring him for two agonizing years, until a new President is elected. As unhinged as Trump has been, if it was Newsom versus Vance today it’s a toss up.

Oh, if there was a will, there is a legal way.

As of early April 2026, several active House resolutions, including H.Res.939 and H.Res.353, have proposed impeaching President Trump for various specific acts:

Abuse of Presidential Power: Recent articles allege the incitement of violence and making death threats against lawmakers and federal judges.

Constitutional Violations: Accusations include the usurpation of Congress' appropriations power and the violation of First Amendment rights.

Governance and Transparency: Charges of creating an unlawful office and general bribery or corruption have been formally introduced.

Tyrannical Conduct: H.Res.353 specifically accuses the president of attempting to establish himself as a "lawless tyrant" by disregarding federal laws and imperiling coequal branches of government.

Good luck with those Senate Votes on the above Impeachment Articles. Maybe Terapined1 can help by quoting the Kalshi market for you. Don't forget the popcorn, evidently it is still affordable despite the price of gas, who knew?

I think the Dims tried that already. Twice?

There were fair and open elections that seated our Senate. The jurors for those impeachments. You know how that turned out. Do you think a new impeachment would end any differently? It is just a waste of time and resources for any more impeachment blather.

Because Trump won the last election, do you think he’d win one today? It’s the same question I can pose about Biden or anyone else who won. Just ‘cause Biden won the first time, did his final months in office reflect the same possibilities?

But if you’re saying the same Republicans are just as stupid and blind as they were when he got elected. Maybe so.

Learned rumor has it that JD was against the Iran-Not-A-War and therefore Donny sidelined him. So, as of today, it looks like Newsom-Marco in 2028. Of course, if Donny croaks while in office and JD becomes Prez, that changes the equation.
