I am not super knowledgeable about Lebanon, and don't really follow it, so that may or may not be true. Right now I am more concerned about what we do with the Iran situation.

Of course YOU are. Israel would be wiped off of the planet if it didn’t have the might to defend itself. Hezbollah constantly sends bombs into northern Israel. Israel is concerned about Lebanon due to Hezbollah.

Sure, but even both Trump and Netanyahu say that this conflict is not related to the operations in Iran nore part of the deal. So, I don't get why I have to factor in the status of Lebanon?

If Israel has ongoing drama with Lebanon, that is between them in my opinion.

I must have missed the part about what our side does for this ‘deal’. I’d bet if we have a Democrat that magically replaced Trump, we’d at least give an apology for the school bombing. Maybe some reparations for that particular event, too.

The overall statement is not that bad in its totality, though.
(When measured against most Trump declarations).

As far as the Israel/Hezbollah conflict, it is Iran saying it should be part of an overall deal/ end to hostilities. Gee, I wonder why?

I suspect we are going to release them money. Trump is ashamed of that, so he won't broadcast it. Because he still mocks Obama and Biden for releasing (in that case,) their own frozen money to them. So, Trump will get terrified of being accused of finding Iran.

I mean Iran says a lot of nonsense to drag things out. As much as I despise Trump, the Iranians are even worse, so what they want is not super relevant to me. But, neither is what Israel wants, I don't particularly trust them either.

Blah blah blah ... just more of the same nonsense from the white house.

Why can't the all powerful USA keep the strait of Hormuz open?
