No formal forestry training. Well read on many subjects, including forestry. We have more trees than 100 years ago. More development in formerly outlying sparse areas. Not as much clear cutting. You do not need a formal training to understand this.

Massive forest fires happen naturally time to time. It is natures way of cleaning things up. I think it was Yellowstone that had a huge part of the park clear-burned due to fires in the late-80s. It recovered. This is how nature works.

You learn these things when you read and think vs. just saying "the scientists told me what to think" as people like yourself do. Your lack of intellectual curiosity is such that you believe any event on the news is some kind of thing that has not happened before. You think the climate has "changed" so much the last few years that any event has to be because of it.

I trust a learned credentialed scientist than some failed supposed landman who self-proclaims to be "well read on many subjects." If you were as well read as you claim, you would be well read by reading the peer reviewed writings of...scientists.

I think you are actually trusting the infobabe on TV that told you what some scientist pushing the story they want pushed said. If you did actually make your living in science you would not be here telling us you believe what "the scientists" told you to believe. You would be making actual points of your own.

Then too back in 1910 we had no ability to fight wildfires so we had no choice but to let it burn uncontrolled.

Today we have thousands of wildfire fighters, planes, dozers etc. and still it gets worse and worse over time.

What you also conveniently overlook and ignore is the fact that the number and frequency of wildfires has increased dramatically from Back In The Day.

Whenever you want to make a cite of this you are welcome to. Of course you probably can't because we have no meaningful records more than 100 years.

Letting wildfires burn actually IS forest management. You put small ones out and undergrowth remains, meaning the next ones will be more and bigger. You would understand this if you actually informed yourself.

This causing a problem goes years back. Of course you do not care because you want to stamp your feet and whine TRUMPTRUMPTRUMP all day.

I mentioned Canada's boreal forests, the massive forests in the sub-arctic of Canada: they are a large source of Canadian wildfires and have never been "managed" due to their size and remoteness.

And yet...they burn like match sticks, clearly showing that the fat oaf's vision of forest mgt,, "let 'em burn." is not working.

The reality is simply this: the climate is changing, it is getting hotter and drier.

Why you and your Dark Lord refuse to accept this clear fact is incomprehensible, unless it is in service of some dark agenda.
