So, I woke up to an insane blue win.

I thought the house was likely. But, overwhelming control of the Senate?

And, SC and TX flipped? Like what?

I am of course happy, but also shocked. People are more upset about prices and wars than I thought.

In the start of 2026, it was predicted GOP would easily hold the Senate, and likey hold the house, but maybe Dems could eak some progress in the house. It was lining up to be one of the most pathetic midterms in history for the opposition party.

So, what does the GOP do, launch a war that is overwhelmingly unpopular, raise gas prices (and everything else as a result,) defend economy crushing tariffs, while floating over ICE executing Americans....

Like, they had the world in their hands, but they wanted to be so evil, they couldn't even wait a year for their war, or restrain their comments about clearly intended ICE executions.

Anyway, a great lesson, that Trump can pull some things off. But, very few others will win acting like Trump... GOP really needs to find a reasonable candidate for 2028 to have a chance. Trying to invent a Trump 2.1 would be a fool's errand.

I'm curious how many Republicans will start blaming Trump instead of being lemmings.
"Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP.

Republican party is DEAD
It used to be a pro business party supporting lower taxes and cutting the deficit and against Russia
Its now the Trump party , higher taxes due to tarriffs, increase the deficit and pro Putin
Trump Party will do more damage
This election was common sense Americans against the Trump party
Old Republicans have been gaslighting Americans and just can't bring themselves to tell the truth due to Trump
Gas prices are high due to the Iran war. Its absurd to blame this on Biden. They can't bring themselves to blame Trump
Its a Trump party. Republicans used to be honest about problems. Now it's all lies due to Trump

None until he is out of power. Until his very last day in office they will be afraid to oppose him. It's so bizarre how terrified of Trump they all are.

I’m still cleaning out my basement due to the water damage from the blue tsunami. The election result far exceeded what any of the ‘experts’ predicted. In a shocking move, Trump said he accepts the election results and is willing to work with the Democrats. The Dems are now a ‘winning’ party and the Repubs a ‘losing’ party.

I have a vision…. Trump blames the Republican loss on them not ALL doing exactly what he wanted…. So he changes to a Democrat!

The best part about the election was that it was a thrashing. That means we won’t have to hear about it being stolen.

Mississippi and Alaska are the two Senate races not officially called yet, and it's tight. But, Dems have a slight lead in both. If Dems can pull either of them that would be insane, but both would be amazing.

Like imagine a blue Mississippi? Or a blue Alaska? Like even 6 months ago this would be fantasy land, but now there is a possibility of blue either or both...
