Then pour over the potatoes, peas and onions and toss well. I also added pasta to the mix, but that was not a very good idea (though the dressing might work for a pasta salad). later on I thought pearl onions might have been a better choice, too, but they're such a pain to cook and peel.... (*) For boiling the potatoes faster, first cut them into cubed, then let them soak in cold water for a few minutes (to prevent oxidation), then boil them. I also made tomato and carrot soup. It's the same recipe as the tomato soup I've posted before, but with some carrot slices added. And the seasoning requires a bit of powdered ginger as well. Lastly I delayed the mocha jello again. This time because 1) I had left-over yogurt, which is best consumed as dessert, 2) The soup really takes it out on me and I was tired, and 3) I had too much stuff to lug to the office on Monday to add a big container with jello. So next week. I'm trying it with sugarless vanilla jello instead of unflavored jello. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

If I slice the fruits,,, I'z got to clean the slicing board. If I add the sliced lemon/limes it tastes better and the pulp lasts about three days. During that time it clogs the tap and requires dismantling the tap for scrubbing and vinegar soaking. If you use just Lime Oil or Lemon oil, there will be less ''taste" and less water will be consumed, but there will no required disassembly of the spiggot device. |

Please be advised that I am NOT at all interested in items that might call for any of these ingredients as toppings, condiments or minor flavoring agents. I am only interested in recipes that make use of any of these ingredients in large quantities. |

| Nareed Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 346 Posts: 12545 | I'm this close to giving up on mocha jello. I can't find sugar-free chocolate flavoring which dissolves well in anything. Curiously the sugar-loaded powders and syrups, dissolve easy as you please. Next time I'll simply try dissolving it in a separate cup, then filter the result before adding it to the jello (so much for easy desserts, eh?) On better news, Someone started importing Chobani Greek yogurt. I love it. The plain one is zero fat, zero sugar, and cheaper than the Fage available until now. IT's not quite as thick as Fage, but this also makes it easier to use in things like spreads, dips, and even cheesecake when I mix things by hand Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

Isn't that as clear a signs as there ever was that bacon ought to be eaten with peanut butter? :) Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

Chocolate for baking is less strongly regulated than chocolate for direct consumption, but most countries have laws that require some minimal sugar or it can not be labeled as chocolate at all. |

That caldwell's is almost thirty dollars and that is a heck of lot to pay when I can get Fleischmans for one dollar and Brewers yeast I can probably get somewhere too. |

| petroglyph Member since: Aug 3, 2014 Threads: 25 Posts: 6227 | I have a machine called a "Nutri-bullet", otherwise known as a blender. I make many a smoothie and I try to add 3 nuts, 3 berries, aloe vera juice from WM for 6$ per gallon as a base. I add protein powder, and veggies and they are great. I may possibly be a little ocd on ingredients, but according to those that sell such devices, it is the best way for the body to receive nutrition. Love the Resveratrol. Yes, I have an elderly cat and must Blenderize her food, so I use the blender pretty much all day long. >>>>>I make many a smoothie and I try to add 3 nuts, 3 berries, aloe vera juice H'mm. Do you mean 3 nuts or 3 TYPES of nuts? It looks like I will have to increase nut intake by massive amounts. More 'meals' rather than 'snacks'. >>>>>aloe vera juice from WM for 6$ per gallon as a base. Wow. I better check out the prices. My local grocery store charges eight dollars for about a quart of it. I once brought it home and was so over heated from the exertion that I guzzled about a pint before I read the label about a recommended dosage of one ounce per day. I did enjoy it and think it had a good effect on me at the time, but its taste was not that great and it was expensive. >>>>>Love the Resveratrol. Yeah, great stuff indeed. I prefer to get it in red wine, but its not all that absorbable anyway. More resveratrol in Box Wine that more expensive wines, but its all too expensive for me nowadays so all I do is take a soda straw to the grocery store and hope some fool drops a glass bottle of red wine. So far, I've had lousy luck. |
