He would take the bladders out of wine boxes and stuff them into the bow and stern of his kayaks. Then he took air line from fish tanks and inflated them and closed the valves on the bladders. Really cool way to add flotation. Yeah, 3 types of nuts. Usually Brazil nuts, almonds, and pumpkin seeds...close enough. Also have friend who sends big bags of goji berries, goes well in frozen smoothies. I am a fan of "Jay Robb", protein powder. The last official act of any government is to loot the treasury. GW |

Line a cookie sheet with foil, spread the peanuts around, and stick them in the oven at 180 C for 15 minutes. Take them out and let them cool and you're done. They come out of the oven glossy from exuded oil. That would be the time to season them, as the spices one might add would stick to the oil. I'm going to make PB with them this weekend. I decided to blenderize rather than cleaverize the Tumeric Root... even though I had a cutting board and pair of bawdy-house gloves at the ready. The trouble with that is that instead of chopped roots sinking to the bottom I get slush all through it and there is no way to keep air from reaching the surface. Also when it is done, I will have to drink slush, albeit fermented slush. How many cups is 19grams of kosher pickling salt? Or how many tablespoons is it?? I had a dark place and cover all ready to go but discovered at the last minute that when you gots a gallon jar and this great tall double-barreled air lock on top of the lild, its taller than my planned 'dark' container. I should have just used Fido 'nipple' lids ... it would have been in keeping with the theme of referring to my gloves as bawdy house gloves. Them nipple lids don't require a water-based airlock to let CO2 out but of the vessel but prevent O2 from entering it during fermentation. Them air locks are nice but you cant see the line that reads 'max' until after you've added the water and then whats the use once its been exceeded? I think the worst decision was the blenderize rather than chop, as I had planned and set up for.May have been a fatal decision. I will find out in six weeks, so if I'm suddenly absent from my arithmetic drills... y'all will know why. |

A very similar fruit is sea buckthorn and I am a great admirer of it, but it is a bit pricey. As far as I know there are no Cytochrome 450 worries with sea buckthorn berries and any medications. I think what I'll be doing is first blenderizing almonds then adding water to make 'allmond milk' then using that as a base and add a few other types of nuts with fruit added sparingly. I did like Aloe Vera juice, but the label said one ounce per day, so I'm a bit leery of taking it in greater quantities than that. |

At least there are no lumps of undisolved cocoa and jello. Further, the pot is a lot easier to clean, as the lumps tend to stick to the bottom. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

Ferment for only two weeks. Goes great with steaks Mr. Pew. |
