Is FEMA considered socialism? I always related it more to insurance. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

Terapined seems to think allocating federal tax dollars to aid in disaster relief is ‘socialism’. I just consider it the normal workings of our non-socialist government. It is interesting (and telling) that the loser Democrats are harping on the fact that the Trump administration is not Willy nilly giving money to a REPUBLICAN state! That maybe they decided it didn’t rise to the level of a disaster that requires federal assistance? Should Buffalo get disaster aid for every snowstorm that requires plowing? |

It's the Republicans that consider FEMA socialism I'm making fun of Republicans begging for what THEY consider socialism Joe Biden or Kamala Harris would have helped Arkansas. I'm ok with my tax dollars helping Arkansas recover from a disaster. It's Republicans that are not OK with helping Arkansas. I have a lot of compassion for Americans that are suffering. That's why I lean left. I'm not a thoughts and prayers supporter. Instead I support FEMA  |
