Interesting results from a Canadian poll last August that I had missed then.
"Abacus chair Bruce Anderson mentioned that 59 per cent of the vaccine-hesitant are women and two-thirds have post-secondary education. Further, 61 per cent would have voted to the left of the political spectrum. Thirty-five per cent would have voted Liberal, 17 per cent NDP, nine per cent Green and 25 per cent Conservative.

As Licia Corbella noted in an article in the National Post, this is “not exactly the profile of the person listening to some Pro-Trump shock jock"

Pregnancy concerns could easily be a concern pushing women in a majority. Women getting secondary educations are often seeink pregnancy before their biological clock puts limitations on them.

Couldn't they possibly hinder that sort of thing by having a weighted scale, where losing games later in the season would factor less than losing games early? I'd assume no one is interested in losing games early in the season, so more likely for someone to do that later.

I understand your point, but I think it misses the bigger picture. If we assume that Flores was offered payment in order to tank, then that, by itself, is enough to potentially compromise the integrity of every game in which the team is involved. When you combine that with sports betting being widespread, (and the potential for the information that a team plans to tank to get out) then game integrity becomes an even bigger issue...especially when you consider that individual NFL teams will often have deals with different sports betting outlets and the NFL itself clearly has no problem with sports betting sites buying advertising slots.

Furthermore, it might almost end up being a situation for Flores where he'd be trading cash now for loss of income later. Obviously, every loss would still be on his overall record as a HC and you could end up in a situation in which Dolphins fans are calling for his head after a terrible season. On the other hand, by refusing, he alienates himself with team owners and management which, to me, gives the lawsuit (as relates the Dolphins) legs if any of it can be proven. It's basically a no-win situation and, if this actually happened and had he accepted the terms, he would be participating directly in tampering.

I don't think he has anything on the Bills or Broncos organizations because they are simply following the NFL's requirement that they must interview a minority candidate for HC---regardless of whether or not they already have someone else they specifically want for the job who needs only to accept it. While I think it's possible that there could be some claim against the NFL on these grounds, it's kind of ironic because it means you have a Black/Hispanic dude suing the NFL because the NFL itself requires at least one minority candidate to be interviewed for the position of HC.

By 2018 the NYS prison population was down to 47,000 after Albany decided the best way to decrease the prison population was to just let them out.

Bail reform was implemented in 2019 and the prison population plunged by 15,000 to 32,000 in less than two years, as thousands of inmates were released before their sentences were served and thousands more were arrested and never tried for their crimes.

Overall crime in NYC is up 42% in just the first seven weeks of 2022.

In this armed robbery case, where a police officer was shot by one member of the group, the Manhattan Prosecutor requested no bail and no jail.

This one was free without bail, awaiting trials for three open cases, that would never have been heard.

He followed this poor woman into her apartment and cut her to ribbons, probably because she was Asian.

He should be facing 25 to life, but the new Manhattan DA refuses to prosecute for a sentence longer than 25 years.

That can't possibly be true, criminals are just misunderstood disadvantaged people who need more support. The only truly bad people in the US who need to be punished are Trump supporters.

Victims. Right.

Since most homicides occur in democrat run cities, most of the victims are probably democrat voters.

That woman and the one who was tossed in front of a subway train for kicks, and torn to shreds last month, were most likely dem voters.

Three people thrown onto the subway tracks so far this year. Another was chased onto the tracks.

And no one is doing anything about it.

What kind of point are you trying to make
It's an absurd post
What are Republicans doing about homicides that happen in rural areas?????????
Homicides happen in rural areas.
Is this the fault of republicans?

Am I supposed to care about crime in big cities in which I don’t live?

I’ll leave that to the righties who also don’t live there… they do enough caring for the rest of us (while conveniently ignoring all crimes committed by righties).

I read both hi lighted story's and they are awful. These teens are brutal sob's, and people want them released to roam the streets again without spending any time in jail? If they are not punished the same thing will continue as the shoot and stab and rob at will. What kind of crazy DA thinks these teens shouldn't do time? Makes me sick reading the story.
