I read both hi lighted story's and they are awful. These teens are brutal sob's, and people want them released to roam the streets again without spending any time in jail? If they are not punished the same thing will continue as the shoot and stab and rob at will. What kind of crazy DA thinks these teens shouldn't do time? Makes me sick reading the story.

The creature stabbed that poor woman over forty times. Murder is a form of entertainment for them.

It's not only the DA's. It is the majority of voters that support them.

We have five District Attorneys in NYC. Four of them are Soros funded DA's who refuse to prosecute most crimes. They were elected by a landslide over their more conservative Democrat and Republican opponents.

Voters always get what they deserve.

This creature has 44 priors. In 2019, he was arrested sixteen times in a single day. No jail No bail. He recently beat the hell out of an Asian woman and robbed her on the subway. She was lucky he didn't throw her on the tracks, as they usually do. He assaulted another woman later that day.

People hear the stat that the USA incarcerates more people that any other nation and decide we are "mean." They hear that a black male is more likely to do time than finish college and decide the criminal justice is "racist."

People do not want to be mean and racist, so they vote for the "nice" person.

I agree, they voted for it they got it.

Many liberals would have you think that people are wrong for worrying about crime in far away places. What distance is far away? I live 42 miles from Houston and I am damned sure worried about our local crime rate AND the rate in Houston and the surrounding areas. Criminals allowed to run rampant spread out and crime comes further out of the city. Prosecutors letting people off and no bail might be fine if there wasn’t a tendency for criminals to escalate and spread their escapades.

I am also for funding for more police and more social workers…but you can’t just send a social worker to a crime scene and hope for the best…

Our Mayor is currently in Albany, trying to get State politicians to modify the no bail law. Our Governor, who is pandering for the black vote, is opposed to changing the law. So, the bodies will continue to pile up. This is what the majority voted for.

Well, if you want to fund an area's police force 40 miles away, no one is holding you back.

I get it. Just cede the areas to the criminals and pay no attention.

Besides, they do get funding from taxes we pay when in town, state sales taxes, and federal taxes.

Write your representative and tell him to complain to the representative of that area. That should be an interesting request. You want the feds to get more involved introducing stuff for local problems. Thought you guys liked letting communities handle their own problems. Those people are free to request federal help.

A couple of you have said, they got what they voted for. That's the way it supposed to work isn't it?

If there were no money going from my pocket the governments of those areas through the distribution of funds by the Federal and State governments and also by the taxes I pay when I visit them, I might agree with you.

Stop taking my money and giving it to others. Once my money is not involved in any way, perhaps I should not say anything.

Besides, I am allowed to want places to be safer. I am not required to have an opinion, or push for change, only where I live.

If we did that, Soros would also not be allowed to fund things outside of where he lives. I am kind of okay with the trade--I keep my money and he keeps his--but it sort of violates laws and stuff like that. If that asshat is allowed to have an opinion and fund the campaigns of DAs who will be soft on crime across the US, why should I be quiet about how I feel?
