Same-same in Portland: the "woke" DA refused to prosecute BLM/antifa arrestees for rioting.

This understandably pissed off the Portland cops, and many quit, leading to the blacks in stumptown no going on an essentially unchecked killing spree.

Yet despite that I had a blast in Portland
I got on my bike and rode for miles and miles
I covered a big portion of the city looking for all the buzzy areas. Lots of pedestrians, restaurants and shops.
I rode up and down 21st street and 23rd street. You know the area. Its huge and long. I biked it because I wanted to see the whole area.
I give a high recommend

It all depends on your perspective. You felt safe and enjoyed your rides. You don't feel safe about Covid. Given that your chance of catching covid on any given day are 3 in 1,000,000 I expect that the danger on you rides were well above that. I would probably do the ride you did and feel safe as I have walked in the 'bad' areas of many large cities in the world. I also don't worry about catching Covid. We probably have members on this forum that wouldn't do either one.. Where we differ is you want me to help protect you against Covid which I don't worry about and I don't give a shit if you want to ride through the middle of a gang war.

Most of Portland looks like it did pre-BLM/antifa, and yeah, NW 21st and NW 23rd were spared the marching, the rioting, the arson: those delights were saved for downtown, near the courthouse and police HQ.

I must say I experienced mixed emotions when I read last week about the pissed off home owner shooting a bunch of BLM / antifa idiots who were gathering to march in front of his house: one dead, several injured.

He'd had enough, as have I: but so far I've not taken up arms against this enemy.

Year-to-date Dow Jones down 3300 points. That's just January and February. But Terrapined isn't worried he still has that big jar of pennies he's been saving since he was a kid. He knows he can always get a TV dinner and a tank of gas. LOL
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

And what about YOU, EB, are you concerned?

Nah, of course not: the cave you occupy is filled with mushrooms, and they're pretty filling, eh?

But yeah, the DOW has lost quite a bit but I'm not worried and I am heavily invested: it'll bounce back, it always has.

The business of the United States, is War. Defense stocks are always a good investment. Especially now.

The market is in correction, but defense stocks like LMT and NOC have impressive one-month gains.

Humanoid with 44 priors arrested after smearing woman's face and hair with feces.

As expected, he was released without bail.

Then he was immediately arrested for a previous assault on an elderly Jewish man, and charged with a hate crime.

Hate crimes in NY are not bail bail eligible, so he should be back on the streets by now.

I'm glad I've lived where I have, the PNW and AK. now Az. I can't imagine living where that behavior is a daily reality. That woman undoubtedly had deadly bacteria crammed into her mouth, and her mind will carry that assault the rest of her life.
If there is no bail or jail, why not vigilante justice?

My initial thought on reading about the feces attack was that "this is just another mentally ill homeless POS," but reading about his comments to the judge during his first appearance he came off as coherent and he doesn't seem to be a crazy man, just another worthless negro filled with rage.

Woman kills man during sex/meth encounter

Quote:
Schabusiness allegedly killed and dismembered her victim after first smoking methamphetamine with him, according to the complaint. They initiated a sexual encounter that then escalated to include the use of chains, which Schabusiness characterized as a dog’s choke collar. There were two, she said—one for her, and one for him.

Eventually, Schabusiness says she began strangling him with her bare hands. She told investigators that she could feel his heart continuing to beat as she choked him, “so she kept pulling and choking him harder.” She kept going as the man’s face turned purple and blood came out of his mouth, local outlet WISN reported, citing the complaint.

She then played with the cadaver for “two to three hours” after his death, using several knives to dismember the body, prosecutors alleged in the complaint. A bread knife “worked the best,” she explained in a police interview, “because of the serrated blade.”

Schabusiness told the police that they’d “have fun trying to find all of the organs,” according to the complaint.

Her plan had been to bring all of the body parts with her, but, being “paranoid and lazy” as she put it, she left the head behind.

“I can’t believe I left the head, though,” she said

Schabusiness told investigators that she had just gone “crazy,” and blacked out during at least part of the encounter. She asked them “if they knew what it was like to love something so much that you kill it,” according to the Green Bay Press Gazette.
