Secret mods.

Interesting concept.

I don't understand why they just can't be greenies like the rest, but I am not the boss. Just seems strange to me as a concept...the secret police are here!!

I am/am not a secret mod.

I'd like to remind the forum, especially stinkingliberal, that there is a rule against profanity. Vulgarity will also not be tolerated.

One of the secret mods banned SL's for a vulgar post about Ivanka Trump. In the spirit of equal treatment, I will unsuspend SL, with a warning, because I usually give a warning first for profanity and hijacking.

SL, there are a lot of other posts you wrote that are pushing the limits. Please tone it down.

I have to confess. I'm the secret mod that banned myself. I wanted to stay undercover for a while longer--after all, who would have suspected?--but I just want to say that in the spirit of fair play, I will NOT ban EvenBob no matter what he says or does upon his return.

And Mike, I'm sorry about the vulgarity--I will attempt to use the word "Trump" as seldom as possible.

You meet two strangers in a road. One of them always tells the truth, the other always lies. One is a secret mod, one is not. What question do you ask them?

Gee, I thought everyone knew that. Like the name of Data's cat--common knowledge.

Repealing Obamacare has been uncomfortably slower than Republicans had predicted. Much slower.

Quote: New York Times
Congress’s rush to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, once seemingly unstoppable, is flagging badly as Republicans struggle to come up with a replacement and a key senator has declared that the effort is more a repair job than a demolition.
...
The struggles and false starts have injected more uncertainty into insurance markets that thrive on stability. An aspirational deadline of Jan. 27 for repeal legislation has come and gone.

Obama signed his bill in March 2010. They had 6 years to research, discuss, and write up a replacement. They had 6 years to interview doctors, nurses, economists, insurance executives, drug company reps, hospital administrators, Tea Party activists, etc. They had 6 years to circulate written drafts between various Senators, Governors, Congressmen. They had 6 years to study the successes & failures of Obama's experiment.

It turns out the Republicans spent 6 years doing nothing. Just complaining.

At the very least, why didn't the Congressional GOP leaders form a working group on November 10 to start writing a bill? It's already February 2017, and I'm beginning to think they haven't even started writing a bill yet. Maybe if we give them another 6 years they can put something together....
