Probably while on the golf course.

Trump works 18 hour days and has all his life. If he gets it done on the golf course that is fine with me. Not like he is some low level college law professor who has to be in his classroom, office, or faculty lounge.

This is laughable.

He's up in his personal residence by 5pm most days watching Fox News all evening and calling "friends" on his cell phone.

I do believe that you truly do think he works 18 hour days. It's just not true.

Here's a fun little excerpt from that new book everyone is talking about:

Quote:
Trump, in fact, found the White House to be vexing and even a little scary. He retreated to his own bedroom — the first time since the Kennedy White House that a presidential couple had maintained separate rooms. In the first days, he ordered two television screens in addition to the one already there, and a lock on the door, precipitating a brief standoff with the Secret Service, who insisted they have access to the room. He reprimanded the housekeeping staff for picking up his shirt from the floor: “If my shirt is on the floor, it’s because I want it on the floor.” Then he imposed a set of new rules: Nobody touch anything, especially not his toothbrush. (He had a longtime fear of being poisoned, one reason why he liked to eat at McDonald’s — nobody knew he was coming and the food was safely premade.) Also, he would let housekeeping know when he wanted his sheets done, and he would strip his own bed.

If he was not having his 6:30 dinner with Steve Bannon, then, more to his liking, he was in bed by that time with a cheeseburger, watching his three screens and making phone calls — the phone was his true contact point with the world — to a small group of friends, who charted his rising and falling levels of agitation through the evening and then compared notes with one another.

As details of Trump’s personal life leaked out, he became obsessed with identifying the leaker. The source of all the gossip, however, may well have been Trump himself. In his calls throughout the day and at night from his bed, he often spoke to people who had no reason to keep his confidences. He was a river of grievances, which recipients of his calls promptly spread to the ever-attentive media.

On February 6, in one of his seething, self-pitying, and unsolicited phone calls to a casual acquaintance, Trump detailed his bent-out-of-shape feelings about the relentless contempt of the media and the disloyalty of his staff. The initial subject of his ire was the New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, whom he called “a nut job.” Gail Collins, who had written a Times column unfavorably comparing Trump to Vice-President Mike Pence, was “a moron.” Then, continuing under the rubric of media he hated, he veered to CNN and the deep disloyalty of its chief, Jeff Zucker.

It is true. You are believing the same kind of nonsense liberals said about Reagan in the 1980s.

The guy sleeps about 4 hours a night and is always on the go. His staff can barely keep up with him. You do not build a billions of dollars empire with worldwide properties by quitting at 5 pm.

If it is true he works 18 hour days (it's not), I guess he should be embarrassed that he's accomplished so little during his first year...

Sad that so many local governments fought him tooth and nail over it. As far as I am concerned, anybody who fights against voter ID requirements is in favor of voter fraud. We just might be at the point where vote fraud is a way of life now.

This investigation wasn't about voter ID, it was about identifying widespread voter fraud.

His investigation had no teeth. They asked for information, they got "no" for an answer, and then... They did nothing about it. No executive orders, no court filings, no attempts to identify fraud through other investigative means.

Personally, I am in favor of voter ID, as long as that id is easy to obtain. It could be as simple as a voter registration card that has the voter's picture on it. You register to vote, you get your picture taken. Name, address, precinct, ward, district, etc, photo.

You would hear crying even about that I am afraid. I can hear it already, "minorities courthouse to get the picture ID!" Just use your drivers license or non-driver ID card. If you have a job, you have that. Need to get rid of motor-voter to avoid fraud there, though.

I would get rid of voter drives, ban them. Just make sure there is a supply of voter registration at every USPS office. Make the PO and the county election bureau the only place allowed to have them. That would solve many problems.

Hey, breathing is hard work. and the heart has to be kept working, too. you don't know this because no one but Trump has ever thought to breathe non-stop 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Much has been accomplished in the first year. Great new tax law. Regulations killed. Out of bad treaties. Illegal immigration down. Judicial vacancies filled an one of the most rapid rates in modern times.

You do not measure "accomplishment" on pages of legislation passed.

I found that amusing because Trump on Dec 27 said
Quote: Trump
You know, one of the things that people don’t understand — we have signed more legislation than anybody. We broke the record of Harry Truman.

However in reality
Quote: govtrack.us
Trump has sunk to last place with 94 bills signed into law by his 336th day in office (today). That’s eight fewer than President George W. Bush and not even half as many as presidents Bill Clinton (209) and George H.W. Bush (242).

I'm not going to quote everything from the webpage, and this isn't really about his accomplishments, but rather his promises -

On politifact.com, you can navigate the Promises -> Trump-O-Meter pulldown to get an accounting of progress he has made on his promises.

I think the category that requires the most thought is "Stalled." You can't really call the things he promised to do as "Broken" for many of those, because technically he could still do them while in office, however a lot of them should be considered "broken for now" since I don't think he has any intention of keeping some of them.
