Feeding known KKK members can be against a sincere belief just as making a cake for gay people is against a belief. We know they are KKK members, because they announced it when they came in and stacked their confederate flags in the corner along with their cross banner. It was a bonehead mistake to kick them out. Any kind of negative press is bad for any business, it can be death for a small one. It was a win/win to serve her. Libs would think the owner was a hero because of the cake incident, and the Right would applaud her for not kicking her out. The owner really screwed the pooch on this one. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
