Over 300 of them available. What's missing is all the shows from the 60's. Beverly Hillbillies, Hogan, Green Acres, Petticoat Junction, Wild Wild West, Gomer Pyle, Andy Griffith, Gilligan, Muensters, Dick VanDyke, Lost in Space, Red Skelton, Rawhide. A lot of these shows are still in syndication around the world, i wonder if that's the reason. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I forgot what a good cast it has, and how good an actor Tom Selleck is. He's very good at being believably sincere. And he's still very good looking in his 70's. Not many actors pull that off. Cary Grant didn't, Neither bid Burt Reynolds. Paul Newman looked great in his 80's, Redford hasn't looked good in 20 years. Selleck today and 40 years ago in Magnum. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I think in the 60's networks were not allowed to produce their own shows. Even though they aired on CBS they were not owned by them. terapined Member since: Aug 6, 2014 Threads: 73 Posts: 11799 | Currently binging on Narcos Mexico Watched the Narcos series regarding Pablo Escobar a few years ago and it totally rocked Now watching Narcos Mexico and it also rocks. I was holding off because I knew a DEA agent was tortured and killed in Mexico and 1st season is all about that true incident Narcos Mexico really handled it well Now into the 2nd season as the DEA is getting revenge This is a really great show. Seems so authentic as all the characters are speaking there own languages. Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 146 Posts: 25011 | Watching season 9 of Blue Bloods on Prime. That the writing and acting on this show gets better every season is more than amazing. It's almost unheard of. I like every main character, I love the family dynamic, and the police dynamic. If I feel a bond with these people and care about them, imagine how the fan base feels. There was talk at CBS about cancelling the show, like COPS and Live Pd was cancelled, over the BS last spring. I think whoever suggested it was gone by the end of the day. Or that's the rumor. This might be the most beloved TV show on right now, it certainly is on CBS. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Saw the pilot on CBS All Access last night and it was pretty good for a pilot. Is this show worth watching for all 7 seasons? Pilot's usually suck and this one did not. Tom Selleck is only 5 years younger than Len Cariou Makeup, hair dye and lighting made it seem as if Len Cariou was old enough to be his father on the show |

Done totally on purpose in case the show had legs. The dynamic between The PC and his retired dad PC has always been very important. As well as is the Sunday dinner. Which they all hate shooting. They start at 9am and it can go all day. Watch one and count all the different camera angles. Each one represents where they had to do the entire dinner over from start to end because they had to move the camera. They don't really eat much, just move the food around on the plate. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
