There are a few others. My sister in law
sits for 5min outside the casino praying
she'll be a winner. She's a slot player.
Does she spend even one minute being
proactive and finding games that will give
her better odds? Does she do one thing
that will improve her game? Hell no.

Jesus told her if she believed in him, he
would give her anything she asked for,
no caveats attached. She takes him at his
word. She is just one of millions who
think prayer is a form of magic, even though
they don't use that word. It's magical thinking,
nonetheless.

LOL, that's what all you magic thinkers say.
That's part of the package called self delusion.
You see and hear what fills your agenda. I can
stand on the outside and have no illusions.

Somebody has two hundred friends, pfft.

You demean friendship by claiming you have a intimate knowledge of two hundred human beings.

Do you know all their middle names? What country they originate from, what their favorite flavor of ice cream is? I doubt it.

Ya see, that term friendship is almost as over used as the term love only without as many side effects.

Please show me the definition of friend where I must know their middle name, flavor of ice cream, and country of origin.

But thanks for the compliment.

The point is, you don't have 200 friends,
and if you did, you would not know the
intimate details of their prayer life. How
could you.

But I do have common sense.

A good friend can last through 2 or 3 marriages, but all friendships need nurturing. I don't see how anybody has that much time.
