Science and religion both clearly point out that they are unique and unrepeatable human beings with a full set of DNA that just given a chance those embryos will become different and amazing people like you or me.

While I know your religion places man above all other species, in general mankind is in the same boat as everything else. Nature, and what is "natural" if you like to go that route destroys a whole bunch young before and after birth. Some die like humans do in the estimated 1 in 4 in miscarriage event. But many others are simply born by the hundreds only to be gobbled up by a predator already as a live being.

Maybe you've seen the sea turtle footage? Your god makes an animal who gives birth by thousands and many of the young get gobbled up on the way to the ocean.

Such respect the god has for newborns he creates them for regular meal times in a lot of species. Certainly before humans gained control over most of our predators, our babies would be snatched up by predators as well.

While I'm not saying this to encourage abortion, I'm simply pointing out how "nature" or what is "natural" often treats newborns. In reality, they're a big part of the food chain.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Here's a trick question that nobody ever
even comes close to getting right. What
was by far the number one killer of humanity
worldwide before 1900. It was infant mortality.

More humans died in childbirth or before
their 3rd birthday than by any other
cause. It's only modern medicine that
started saving them around 1900. People
had large families because so many
died as small children.

The second trick question. Until 1900, the
biggest killer of women, by far, was childbirth.
Can you imagine? We have no idea what
our very recent past was really like, and
all the centuries before. It was a brutal and
thankless place, and the false god people
prayed to made them feel better, but their
kids died anyway.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Yeah, the natural world doesn't really treat humans as special above all else. I think we pretty much invented that idea that the world needs us special beings. And if we go by what's natural, the world doesn't really miss any one species even if it goes extinct, including humans. In a lot of cases, other species would likely do better without us.

All species and other living things have mechanisms to survive, or even a will to live in some cases, and in that we aren't special either.

The last official act of any government is to loot the treasury. GW
