If I was a Democrat., I'd be furious for being so close to handing the election to Trump. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

As it played out, I believe he actually hoped to win. It is amazing there are entire states that have a majority of voters that think DJT should be president. And I believe that number will exceed half of the states..... How pathetic a candidate is HRC! |

I don't care about which party, or gender wins. She is a sick individual. Hard for me to imagine she has so many supporters. The last official act of any government is to loot the treasury. GW |

I think at times Trump has not cared if he wins... rather than wanting to lose. Not in his nature to lose. Both US parties need to take a long hard look at themselves. They won't, but they should. The Reps aren't really sure what they stand for anymore, and the Dems are feeling more like a single monolithic power. They are looking more like a Third Way, Corporatism entity, which is not -liberal- in either sense of the word, and definitely not 'socialist' either. Personally, the Republicans becoming more of the Classical Liberalism of the past would be a good thing (small government, personal freedoms, enshrined rights from a constitution, free market economics (e.g. some of the core of the American Conservative movement), as a reaction to the big government, more planned economy, big-house of the Democratic system should be going for. As then you'd get some movement and nuance. Probably won't happen. One side is hell bent on the racially charged, anti-immigration my rights over yours; and the other on sucking up to every large interest group it can muster to it's side; serving less the people and more the corporatist groups. This was an election where change could have happened... have to wait 4 years now. It is said that your life flashes before your eyes just before you die.... it's called Life |

I don't think she's as bad as people think she is. Is she corrupt? very likely. But so are 90-95% of all politicians. Oh, she's plenty bad, but much has been exaggerated. Consider all that her detractors, political and otherwise, said about her in the 90s. Now, sure, in the 90s with her husband in the White House, she could be untouched by prosecution. But what about afterwards? If she was as terrible as she was made out to be, why didn't the two-term GOP administration of Bush the younger go after her? Sometimes where there's smoke there's fire. And sometimes there's a bunch of people blowing smoke. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

Of all the things that I don't agree with her on, my biggest problem with her is her pro war stance. I think either candidate would get us there, but she would take the express route to much bigger armed conflict. We haven't taken a breather in a long time. Let someone else have a try. I remember when BHO was going to bring us home from Iraq and Afghanistan. Don't hear much about that anymore. Yeah, they are probably all liars and crooks, I was just ready for a new face. I heard many conservatives berate Bush for not extending the Iraq war to Syria and Iran... What we've learned from Afghanistan and Iraq, and now Syria, is that when you take down the authoritarian leadership of a country held together by force, said country falls apart and the subsequent jockeying for power will almost certainly involve arms. Therefore it's better not to meddle, unless they are a clear threat. Afghanistan was. Iraq, Syria, Libya, etc. were not. We'll see. I'd expect Trump to go charging in blindly. He knows better than all the generals and intelligence personnel, doesn't he? Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

Yeah, I'm not crazy about Hillary's friendly relationship with Wall Street, but that's merely a secondary concern. The bigger problem is that she's too much of a military hawk.
The biggest foreign policy lie of the Obama Administration is Afghanistan. On Bush's watch, the U.S. lost 630 soldiers in Afghanistan. On Obama's watch, that number has almost tripled: 1,759 U.S. deaths. And for what? It's an unwinnable war. Those soldiers died in vain, for no purpose. The Taliban hold more territory now than at any time since 2001. The U.S. has accomplished absolutely nothing in Afghanistan. So Obama lost 1,759 Americans in Afghanistan, but you'd never know it from listening to the GOP talking points. The right-wingers are convinced that the real Obama scandal is the 4 Americans who died in Benghazi. |
