They don't know how good we've had it these past 8 years...
.

If the last 8 years was 'good' to you,
the Kool Aid IV needs to be taken
out of your arm. Find a deprogrammer,
find a support group. You too can
be normal again..

Bill Clinton said today that Hillary gave
it her best and won the popular vote.
Yet another Lib who doesn't understand
our election process.

Hillary spent most of her time and money just trying to get angry minorities to vote for her, but she did not try to win the states that mattered. Now she gets to sit on a porch in upstate NY and yell at local kids to stay off her lawn.
The President is a fink.

The last 8 years weren't good for me. They were GREAT.

I finished college. Got a great job with great benefits. Bought a condo. Banged a bunch of UM guys. Started taking random Vegas trips every two months with my disposable income... I know some of the members here like to discount getting a good education, but it really did make the difference for me.

No Kool-Aid drinking here. Just reality. Thankfully, my life won't change much under Donald. For some, that won't be the case though...

Illustrating the old adage "It's the economy stupid". It really all comes down to a personal level. Only one thing matters, am I doing well or not.

You really don't get it. Even if by some
fluke congress voted to get rid of the EC,
it still has to be approved by 2/3 of the
states. All it takes is 17 of the small EC
states to say, hell no, we aren't giving up
our power in national elections. Also, no
matter which side is in power, that party
would never vote to get rid of the system
that just elected them. So dream on..

Let's circle back to this post. It's EvenBob who doesn't get it.

It would not take a Constitutional Amendment to allow the popular vote winner to become President.

It would take enough states changing the way they allot their electoral votes. If enough states (who's combined EV total is >270) have their electors vote for the national popular vote winner, then the popular vote winner will automatically win regardless of who the other states vote for.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Popular_Vote_Interstate_Compact

Do I think this will happen anytime soon? No. But it sure as hell would be a lot easier than getting a Constitutional Amendment passed...

Your father is ruining our country? Wow,
he isn't even president yet. The Left really
has to stop believing it's own hype.
