Half of congress says if it fails to get the votes, Trump is done. The other half, the Rand Paul half, say if it passes Trump is done. Kinda makes you wonder if anybody knows what's going on with this thing. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Trump gave Speaker Paul Ryan and the House Republican leadership enough rope to hang themselves. Instead of dictating terms to him, they will now depend on him to save them, politically. They must accept whatever plan he will put forward." If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

ams288 Member since: Apr 21, 2016 Threads: 29 Posts: 12532 | I can't wait for Donald's first 100 days to be over. The cable channels always make a big deal out of it. "What has the new President accomplished?" "What grade would we give him?" Etc. I can't wait to see the talking heads talk about what a disaster Donald's first 100 days have been. The only thing he's accomplished are a bunch of EOs that will easily be negated by the next Dem President. Even the Republican talking heads are already having a tough time polishing this turd. It will drive Donald crazy. He's already fuming that his first 100 days have been nothing compared to Obama's. To have a bunch of people talking about that nonstop on the cable channels he watches obsessively will send him over the edge. “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

He's already had a fantastic run, this is just the highlights: Trump signed a presidential memorandum withdrawing the United States from the trade deal with Asia. ..signed executive orders that would make it possible to complete the Dakota Access and restart the process for the construction of the Keystone XL oil pipeline from Canada. signed an executive order to strip federal grant money from so-called "sanctuary cities" -- signed an executive action directing federal agencies to prepare for "immediate construction" of a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border signed an executive order that calls for more intensive security checks for foreign nationals seeking U.S. travel visas. signed an executive order to provide new resources and equipment to strengthen the U.S. military. signed an executive order requiring that for every new federal regulation on small and large businesses, two existing regulations must be removed. nominated federal appellate Judge Neil McGill Gorsuch to replace Associate Justice Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court. signed an executive order to ease U.S. fiscal regulations in the Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 - issued an executive order prioritizing efforts to prosecute foreign-based crimes like drug and human trafficking. signed an order to review existing laws and produce legislation to better protect federal, state and local law enforcement officers. signed House Joint Resolution 38, which scraps an Obama administration environmental rule to protect waterways from coal mining waste. signed a revised version of an existing order to block entry by people from six majority-Muslim nations for 90 days and ban all refugees from Syria for 120 days. signed a resolution rolling back an Obama-era rule that gave the Bureau of Land Management power to conserve public lands for future use revoked two Obama-era regulations on teacher training and school accountability. signed an executive order to roll back a suite of planned environmental regulations in an effort to spur energy independence. signed an order establishing the President's Commission Combating Drug Addiction and the Opioid Crisis to fight the epidemic of prescription drug overuse and overdose. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

How'd that work out for him? Do you even read what you copy and paste? As I said, mostly EOs that will easily be erased by the next Pres. Except for this one:
Cause everyone wants coal mining waste in their waterways! LOL “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

And what the F do think Obama mostly did. He's famous for saying he rules with a pen and a phone. All presidents do. FDR signed more EO's than any president in history. Bush and Obama signed about 35 a year. Carter 80 a year. Reagan 45 a year. Carter in 4 years signed almost as many as Reagan in 8 years. Big Lib Woodrow Wilson averaged 225 a year, can you imagine? But nobody will ever come close to the biggest Lib of all, FDR. A whopping 307 a year for 12 years. He must had writers cramp. He was followed by Truman who had 116 a year. They screwed things up for generations to come. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Wonderfully. He wound up reminding judges they work in a court. It was a revelation for most of his followers.
Seriously. What man ever has had an easy time pushing legislation while "his" party controls both houses of Congress? Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |
