Polls are more scientific.

In the vote counting early on they were only
counting mail in votes and Ossoff was leading.
They were going crazy at his 500 seat event,
cheering and jumping up and down with
every vote for him. Then they call the race
for the Repub and it's Nov 8th all over again.
Weeping and sobbing and tearing of clothes.
Oh, where did we go wrong. If we can't get
a Dem elected with 25mil, what chance do
we have in 2018?

It's a very good night to be President Trump.

What's great about all these runoff elections is,
they almost always favor the party not in the
WH. Trump is winning every one of them,
which has the Dems scared shitless for '18.
That's just a year away. If they can't win
a single runoff when the advantage always
goes to the party out of office, what the
hell are they facing next year.

The most famous runoff was after Obama
won in 08. In early 09 Scott Brown won
Edward Kennedy's seat in a heavily Dem
state. The perfect example of how the
out of office party benefits in runoffs.
Except not this year, Trump is just too
strong a leader in the WH. Spin it some
other way. You can't..

Crazy things like getting Carrier stay in the
US. He got 1000 employees to stay, which
is nothing to sneeze at. Everybody who
knows Trump says he gets things done, he
attacks a problem and solves it. People who
meet with him say there's no small talk, just
get to the nitty gritty, meeting over.

It didn't work out.

Quote: CNBC
More than 600 employees at a Carrier plant in Indianapolis are bracing for layoffs beginning next month, despite being told by President Trump that nearly all the jobs at the plant had been saved. The deal, announced with great fanfare before Trump took office, was billed not only as a heroic move to keep jobs from going to Mexico but also as a seismic shift in the economic development landscape.

Nearly seven months later the deal has not worked out quite as originally advertised, and the landscape has barely budged.

“The jobs are still leaving,” said Robert James, president of United Steelworkers Local 1999. “Nothing has stopped.”

In fact, after the layoffs are complete later this year, a few hundred union jobs will remain at the plant. But that is far different from what then-President-elect Trump said just three weeks after the election.

How fast is Trump enacting legislation?

“The time has come for new immigration rules which say that those seeking admission into our country must be able to support themselves financially and should not use welfare for a period of at least five years,” Trump told a crowd in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, at the U.S. Cellular Center.

The president said his administration would be “putting in legislation to that effect very shortly.”

Boom! Enacted. In 1996. By Bill Clinton.

That's enacting legislation faster than the speed of light.

FOXNEWS BACK TO #1; MSNBC SLIPS AS RUSSIA DRAMA FADES

Richard Madcow only has Russia and people
are bored with the nothing story. Now she's
getting tromped by The Five on Fox, another
show I never watch.

Whenever EB just posts snippets of articles or just the headline and doesn't supply the links, there is a reason...

Trump: ‘It Would Be a Very Sad Day for Republicans’ If Nancy Pelosi Steps Down'

Why are the Dems dumping on poor Nancy
Pelosi. I see nothing wrong with her, what
did she do to lose the Georgia election.
She should stay right where she is until the
2018 elections are over and she shows no
signs of giving in. Good for her.. She
should continue to lead the party till she's
90.

Kennedy Considering Retiring from Supreme Court: The Hill Reports

"Speculation is swirling that Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy could announce his retirement as early as this term, The Associated Press and CNN reported Saturday. If Kennedy leaves the Supreme Court in the near future, it would pave the way for President Trump to further shape the court by nominating his replacement."

Ginsberg is next, then Breyer. That will
make 4 appointments in Trump's first
2 years. Yeah, baby..
