If only there had been warning signs during the campaign, right? I'd say he's like a dog. Think about it. he's either at your feet or at your throat, and pays attention only when you hit him with a newspaper. Except, such characterization would be highly offensive to dogs. Flip Wilson (an old US TV comedian you probably never heard of) had a line - "What you see is what you get". Frankly I don't think anyone can blame Trump for hiding anything other than all his finances. He sure didn't hide his character. That's all on the stooges who voted for him. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

Just about everyone, including many Democrats, expected him to behave once he assumed office. I've no idea why they expected such a thing. It's true many politicians, virtually all of them, walk back many of their campaign promises once they win office. But they seldom change their character or demeanor. Dear Leader Trump remains exactly, not just as he was during the campaign, but as he's been all his public life: short-sighted, petty, vindictive, shallow, and way in over his head.
