My poll source is always the same and the only balanced poll ever quoted on the forum. It is Real Clear Politics average of all the polls including the left and right polls. It includes fivethirtyeight. Even Reuters is down to 9% difference open you eyes and actually look around. Those suffering from TDS will refuse to admit to anything positive about Trump, no matter how trivial. It is a classic symptom of TDS. Thanks for your thoughtful, even handed posts, kenarman. |

Do a little more research ams it is not an aggregator. Nate Silver takes select data and uses his own fudge factors to get to where he thinks the results should be. All pollsters do this to some extent but Nate Silver is probably the most extreme. Because he has been accurate in the past (never with anything to do with Trump) does not mean you are getting anything more than his opinion. Everyone was wrong in 2016. Nate Silver was less wrong that most though. He gave Donald roughly a 1/3 chance of winning the EC on Election Day, and he won it. Not exactly an unthinkable result. LA Times/USC and Ramussen were both within a couple of points. Of course those polls were poo pooed by the left as outliers. When Nate Silver was asked after the election how he got so far off he was quite candid. Admitted that he threw some of his data out because he was sure it was wrong. ie when black females indicated they supported Trump he threw that out assuming that was impossible and the person must have misunderstood the question.
