Trump took his voter base for idiots, and he was right about that. Can't blame him for seeing an opportunity.

about a mile, they can't even see the parade,
let alone stop it. So pathetic. DC cops and the
SS make more money and have more training

I think the President had a different vision of what an Inaugural speech is for. I thought it was strong, but in very poor taste for the company he was delivering it in front of and to a country very divided on his leadership. I can't explain how that speech would have gotten past his advisors and confidents - maybe the scariest part about it was that either he is not listening to others or that his advisors are not very good. Or he could just be Donald J. Trump and his advisors and such know that and this is just who he is. I am so confused.

As far as I'm concerned, the orange man has nothing of any relevance to say. The fact that he managed to hoodwink people to vote for him doesn't change that.
