one of those shows I used to watch but could now not ever watch the reruns , I don't think

In the old show, they seemed to really be "lost" ... no idea where they were. Now, in science fiction, I suppose you could write a plot where they go into a wormhole or something and come out on the other side of the universe, and make that believable within its definition... otherwise, how do you get lost?

I was first exposed to wormholes in "A Wrinkle in Time" a 1963 novel by Madeleine L'Engle. She didn't call it a "wormhole" however, she just called it a "wrinkle". The technical name is usually an Einstein–Rosen bridge, after the work done in the 1930's.

Not looking forward to a Lost in Space reboot
I am looking forward to a Wrinkle in time
Read it as a youngster
Still remember this book very fondly
A real fun read
Hopefully the movie is as good as the book

Is anyone?

I remember little about the show, except I really disliked it.

There was another Wrinkle in Time movie made in 2003.
The last Lost in Space movie was made in 1998.

I had no idea
Just checked the IMDB page and it got a lot of terrible reviews. Overall score 5.7 out of 10.
Hopefully this new one is better

I was a huge fan of L in S and loved
it. Dr Smith gave it a real comic twist,
it was hard to take it seriously. Great
fun..

I don't think Irwin Allen was all that concerned with accuracy in his productions.

He is apparently known for the rock 'n roll camera technique. They shake the camera and the actors run back and forth as if there is an earthquake, or other unsettling event.
