Sorry, but logic says otherwise. Move on.

Move on to other swear words? Why? Do
you honestly believe every time a person
says goddamit he's envisioning some god
with a long beard in heaven damning
somebody or some thing? Not hardly,
he's not envisioning anything, it's just
a common idiom.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Actually get asked a lot about this.
Why use god as a curse word when
we don't believe in god. Habit, nothing
more than habit..

Check out the extra playing a pathologist in a white coat at the 10:20 point. Anybody recognize him?

I was puzzled as hell for a while but now am suspecting that is none other than the Wizard. Don't blink! .... edit, second guess is Son of Wizard

Your first guess was right. Your prize is a beer!

My father was not a religious man at all, but he said "Jesus Christ!!!" a lot when he got mad. I mentioned before that he was a great deal like RV salesman Jack Rebny when he got angry, which was often. I think that is why I avoid angry people to this day.

Noted.

I froze it [with some difficulty] & I misunderstood something I saw and didn't realize this was 1993, thus thought it must be your son. Probably bums you , sorry!

No worries, mate. That show was filmed in 1997 and aired in 98. My son wasn't born for another five years.

OMG, this knocked my socks off. I'm
not a huge Beatles fan, but this is an
amazing video. He's such an icon,
he touched so many lives and the
Beatles defined my generation. Just
watch it, especially the last 10 min. He's
loved in Britain like royalty is loved.
Keep mind as you watch that this
hip and energetic guy is 76 years old.

Mentioned elsewhere, Super Dave Osbourne just died. But few seem to remember he came out of the "Bizarre" show. IIRC it was a Canadian show that was on "Showtime" in the 1980s. It later was syndicated and had a cable version and a TV version, with the TV version cutting the frequent nudity (it was "Game of Thrones" before "Game of Thrones" in that regard) and had a funny horn bleep any foul language. IMHO, the horn was actually funnier than just hearing the cuss word. The cable version might have been what aired in Canada owing to slightly looser Canadian standards.

In any case, one regular sketch was "The Bigot Family." The premise was simple, a bunch of stereotype ethnic folks in one room as one family, each making an ethnic joke about one of the other members, though the star made a joke about each one when he entered. At the end was a "but we all love each other" line, itself a spoof of the PC movement just getting started.

Just imagine the reaction among the snowflakes today.
