I just read an article about some dumbass libbies who are complaining about their schools being reopened.
I honestly don't understand these fools. If you don't want your kid going back to school, then KEEP THEM HOME!!

Is that really so hard for these idiots to understand?! 🙄

Right. This china virus probably pulled homeschooling forward 10 years. If we can get parents "group homeschooling" kids we might really have something.

If we are lucky the virus infects and kills off the current school model which has outlived it's useful life, though really it the best to hope for is it puts it in a 20 year terminal decline.

On the flip side
New Zealand no new cases for 100 days. Amazing
Boy does this country suck

NZ just announced they’ve found four new cases.

So don’t be surprised if our righties try to make it sound like they’re having a huge spike down there and it’s a real hell hole.

Meanwhile, how many thousands of new cases did we find in our country yesterday?

It amazes me that conservatives refuse to acknowledge that many countries around the world did a better job with this virus
They ignore the rest of the planet and claim the virus is some kind of left wing conspiracy to hurt Trump.
Its insanity. Countries around the planet shut down their economies and it has nothing to do with Trump. Yet some on the right claim this is some kind of liberal conspiracy shutting down economies all over the planet.
Conservatives are trying to put lipstick on Trumps pig response to the virus.

I sure wish George Orwell were alive today. All the crap like this that's going on would probably inspire him to write another masterpiece.

One of those mysteries: why the experience can be so different from person to person. One expert says the answer may involve looking at previous vaccines individuals have had.

"When we looked in the setting of Covid disease, we found that people who had prior vaccinations with a variety of vaccines -- for pneumococcus, influenza, hepatitis and others -- appeared to have a lower risk of getting Covid disease," Dr. Andrew Badley, an infectious disease specialist at Mayo Clinic

Or maybe, people who get their vaccines tend to take better care of themselves to begin with.

That's a feel good idea to give your self a pat on the back. Not sure how that aligns, contrary to what was expected, with the fact street people have greater immunity than average.

Looks like no college football season this fall as conference after conference cancels
I see Big 12 just announced their schedule. I still dont see it happening
Its the right call
Its just too dangerous out there in this country
I just dont see how pro football is going to work
Too bad we couldn't be more like New Zealand took the virus seriously
May have to become a rugby fan to watch live sports :-)

I have mixed emotions about it. To me, there is nothing I look forward to more than college football. I probably watch 10 games per week. My selfish sides says that I don't care if a few people die if that is the cost to entertain me. I also think the athletes need to be treated as students first. If they aren't on campus going to classes with the other students I don't think they should play football. So for me it comes down to if the schools believe it is safe enough to have the kids on campus and going to school, they should be allowed to play football. My caveat would be any athlete that is not comfortable playing shouldn't be forced to and they should retain their scholarship.
