President Biden has failed miserably at getting control of the virus. Perhaps it was a stupid promise but he was the one who made it. He has failed to even try all that hard because he criticized the former President on testing and did nothing about it (see previous posts), he talked about uniting the country again--something that would be a good things but he does not even attempt to do, and he has now thrown his hands up in the air and said he can't lead us through the pandemic.

Leaders don't do that. Yes, every leader at every level needs to lead in their area. The President is the Big Guy. He needs to lead with conviction and show the country the kind of leadership needed to instill confidence in the people.

What do I want him to do? Be something more than a puppet. Get out front, fix things, lead, push the envelope as science brings new solutions, etc.

The funny thing is the goal may be hard--stopping a pandemic--but he asked for the job and does not intend to work hard at it.

You know context only matters to you part of the time. It isn't like you or the other lefties looked for context any time you could attack the other side.

I actually watched his statement. There is no dishonesty in what I posted; he said it. He did say the Feds would be there to help but that is something he has already failed at for months. There is the proper context for looking at what he stated.
