SOOPOO Member since: Feb 19, 2014 Threads: 22 Posts: 4177 | Apparently its Harris. She is even money. Everyone else adds up to even money (of course). Second choice is Val Demmings. I thought she was very weak as an 'impeachment manager'. I was unaware she was a police chief, in charge of a force known for, well, police abuse! So the top two "women of color" on the short list have a history of oppressing the minority community using their official roles. Only the Democrats! They don't like womanizer Trump so they choose creepy Joe! And they are unifying around a few dead Black men at the hands of the police by selecting a Black woman who put more Black men in jail than any hundred people you know! Priceless! |

Even though I predicted early on she wouldn't be Democratic nominee, Vice does seem like a good position for her. I'm sure we'll hear more on her record as district attorney if she is a real possibility. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

Pacomartin Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 1068 Posts: 12569 | Trump's closest wins in 2016 (under 1%) were Michigan : 47.27% to 47.50% (Trump wins by 0.23%) Pennsylvania : 47.46% to 48.18% (Trump wins by 0.72%) If these two states are won by Democrats in 2020, and there are no other differences from 2016, Trump still wins by 2 electors. Most of the hypothesized Democrat paths to victories start with these two states.
Not sure if she will help win PA and MI. |

At this point, Biden doesn’t need help in those states, certainly not MI.

NEVER said she was a do-nothing! She DID sleep her way to jobs. There are often a plethora of qualified and talented people vying for a single job, and if you are keeping your eye on the prize spreading your legs can give you a BIG advantage over the competition. From all I can tell, she did a good job as prosecutor. The funny thing is, that will probably hurt her, as putting African-American criminals in jail is now looked on as a bad thing by the Democrat majority. |

Do you think Biden is going to pick a candidate that he thinks is best to be President, or best to help him win the Presidency? |
