Violence at sports game is tribal (yes there are some run-of-mill drunk fights as well). People will go seek out fans of opposing teams to cause harm for no logical reason.

For example if somebody is drunk/high at a concert with friends and they perceive another group as saying something negative about them and a fight breaks out, that is routine drunk fighting behavior (happens all the time at bars, etc...). If somebody after the game goes stalking the streets to look for a fan of the opposing team to stab (any fan, no personal connection or perceived ego threat), that is a different level of behavior, pure tribalism.

These are totally different behaviors and types of violence. Neither is logical, but you can understand a drunken fight after an insult more than you can understand hunting fans of opposing teams....

In Cuba, where if you weren’t a fidelista, you were told you were no longer Cuban, a nonperson, and were treated that way. That’s why when you left the country, they stamped your passport “Nulo” (void) to nullify your existence.

To demand that people show allegiance to one party — or be branded anti-American — is as undemocratic as it gets, not to mention, a completely false choice.

We have the right as Americans to question power. That’s why we came here.

You know, I'm starting to wonder what exactly Terapined said/did when he interacted with those Trump supporters. Because Trump supporters keep to themselves and they don't wear their political views on their sleeve (unless they're at a rally or something) because of all the hateful libbies out there.

So I'd love to know the truth about what transpired between Terapined and those Trump supporters. Unfortunately we'll never know because to be honest I don't trust his characterization of things...
