Yes, start a new position on Monday. Fortunately, after two weeks of training it will be a work from home position that will allow us to move to Florida.

What area in FL?
Maybe still get together for golf
After spending the winter in the desert SW
Prefer FL for winters
Travelling through the NW this summer and fall
Vegas in NOV
Southern TX tour December
Hopefully in FL January to hunker down a few months in the Tampa area

Right now looking in Ft. Myers area. Cape Coral, Punta Gorda, or Port Charlotte. This could still change but as of now we plan on visiting Labor Day weekend and start looking for houses. Probably won't move until November.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent.

Not sure if you are aware, but there appears to be a buffalo in your picture! How close were you?

So close, not safe to get out of my truck.
Generally I like to get out and stand on my truck bed. Not this time. Too close

My son is in the used RV business in Portland.

He says that the demand since covid hit has been high, it is tough to keep the lot full with RV's to sell.

Lots of folks buy them and live in them in Portland now, for whatever reason.

Hot Springs State park , Thermopolis WY
They built a teepee statue to release steam and water
Over the years, the mineral water formed this. Still growing
Terrace cliffs growing from all the mineral water running over them
Really amazing park

I know there’s little chance you’ll be crossing the ocean, but surge in tourism is causing problems for isolated venues it appears.

Quote:
Friction between visitors and locals is nothing new in overcrowded tourism hot spots like Maui, but the rapid rebound in travel combined with lingering COVID restrictions and high post-pandemic expectations of residents and tourists have exacerbated the situation. That has led to renewed calls to limit or better manage traffic and crowds with new tourist fees, reservation requirements for popular beaches and parks and other measures being implemented or proposed.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Checking out Little Bighorn where the Indians had a great victory over the USA
Great to see the monuments to this great victory
