I would hate being famous, such a waste of time. Famous people always seem to be famously unhappy because fame isn't what they thought it would be. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

It's the lottery winners lament. They're ecstatic for about a year and then they're as happy as before they won, or in many cases less happy. You're a happy person naturally or you're not. The attention is like a drug to them. But no matter how famous you are a tolerance to the drug builds up. Even if you are famous there will be places that get used to you being there. Then you are just a regular. The President is a fink. |
